Meet the Artist...

Raz Rasmussen (They/Them) is a 25 year artist from South Jersey. Drawing a lot of inspiration from their experiences, pride, and sustainable principles.

They won the Nicole Miller Award as a junior at Drexel for their first ever 100% upcycled tie gown. Made entirely from their dad's old tie collection. They then proceed to expand the concept for their senior year collection. Which was an entirely upcycled mens workwear unisex collection, with zero waste princliples used throughout the creation of it. (See photos below)

Graduating during the pandemic class of 2020 made Raz need to step away from fashion for a bit. They started to obsessively paint and create mixed media works during the pandemic and have not stopped. Specializing in Mystic Portraits, Pet Portraits, Mixed Media artworks, and Acrylic Pours. They just recently have combined their love of fashion and art by releasing upcycled painted leather products.
